The 991.2 generation represents an important chapter in the history of the Porsche 911. Introduced for the 2016 model year, the second generation of the 991 brought one of the most significant technical developments in the Carrera's history: the naturally aspirated engines of the earlier 991.1 were replaced by a new generation of 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six engines.
In the Carrera 4, the 370-hp engine is combined with Porsche's all-wheel-drive system, offering an excellent balance between traditional 911 character, everyday usability and performance in varying conditions. The wide rear bodywork gives the four-wheel-drive Carrera a particularly purposeful stance, while the 991 generation retains the relatively compact proportions that have made it one of the most appreciated modern 911 generations.
