The Porsche 911 Carrera 4 represents one of the most significant milestones in 911 history. Introduced in 1989, the 964 Carrera 4 brought revolutionary technology to the iconic rear-engined sports car, most notably an advanced all-wheel-drive system derived from the legendary Porsche 959. Combined with the new 3.6-liter air-cooled flat-six engine, the result was a 911 with exceptional traction, stability, and everyday usability — without sacrificing the unmistakable character of an air-cooled Porsche.
 
The 964 generation also introduced major modern refinements including power steering, ABS brakes, improved suspension, and a far more comfortable interior, making it a true bridge between classic and modern 911s. Despite these advancements, the Carrera 4 still delivers the raw analog driving experience enthusiasts love: mechanical feedback, iconic air-cooled sound, and engaging performance in every drive.
 
Today, the 964 Carrera 4 is widely regarded as one of the most usable and collectible air-cooled 911s, combining timeless design, everyday drivability, and genuine Porsche heritage in one exceptional package.
 
Our car is presented in the timeless and desirable Guards Red over Black leather interior combination — an iconic specification that perfectly suits the character of the 964. Adding rarity and collector appeal, the car was ordered without a sunroof, a feature highly sought after by enthusiasts for its cleaner roofline and increased headroom.
 
True to its minimalist, driver-focused ethos, the car was specified with very few factory options, making it an especially attractive example for collectors. Only two options were selected from new: air conditioning and a tinted upper part on the windscreen. The interior remains wonderfully original, complemented by a Blaupunkt Modena RD 148 head unit.
 
The driving experience has been further enhanced with chassis improvements, giving the car exceptional ride quality and handling balance. Completing the package is the fantastic soundtrack from the Dansk sports exhaust — delivering the unmistakable air-cooled 911 sound exactly as it should be.
Most importantly, this example has been exceptionally well preserved throughout its life and benefits from a full service history from new. Both the paintwork and interior remain beautifully original and remarkably well kept, reflecting the level of care the car has received over the years.
