Information on car:

One of the most beautiful BMW classics has to be the E24 series 2-door coupé, here in the sought after 633 CSI form. Our car started it´s life in Sweden and has a very comprehensive history file, including the original handbook and service book along with other documentation. This is one of the last cars based on the E12 model range. Almost all MOT certificates dating from the 80´s until today are with the car. Being registered as a vintage car in Finland, the MOT is only due every forth year. The model range was introduced in 1976 and carried on until 1989, with some upgrades and changes along the way. The 6-series was a lot sportier than the Mercedes cars of the same area and it had a 2-year advantage before the Porsche 928 was launched. The model was bang on and BMW produced 86216 units during the lifespan. The 3,2 liter straight six engine has a very beautiful note and a reputation of being reliable. It features a Bosch Motronic injection, which was state of the art in 1980 when our car was first registered on 11 March. The 3-speed automatic transmission suits the grand tourer very well and it offers an excellent ride quality, as can be expected. The original 15” BBS wheels comes with the car, even though it now is running on 17” wheels. The interior features a very beautiful leather upholstery and comfortable seating also in the back. The most sought after 6-series are the Karman build cars 1976-77 and the 633 CSI. These cars are still affordable even though they have started to appreciate in the not so distant past. The car is ready to be enjoyed by the next caretaker. For sale on behalf of customer.
